Peter Jarrett

Peter Jarrett is the current Chief Scientific Officer at Ocular Therapeutix. Peter has over 25 years of experience in the field of biomedical engineering and materials science. Prior to joining Ocular Therapeutix, they were the VP of Biomaterials R&D at Genzyme from July 2001 to July 2007. From January 1993 to December 2001, they were the VP of R&D at Focal Inc. And prior to that, they were an Associate Research Fellow at Davis & Geck from January 1989 to December 1993. Peter started their career as a Senior Chemist at American Cyanamid from January 1984 to December 1989 and then at Aerojet from January 1982 to December 1984.

Peter Jarrett's educational career includes a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. in Chemistry from Connecticut College.
