Rami Elhayek

Rami Elhayek has extensive experience in the field of chemistry and drug delivery systems, currently serving as Executive Director of Innovation & Strategic Collaborations at Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. since October 2007. Rami's expertise includes designing polymers for hydrogel ophthalmic applications, optimizing manufacturing processes, and developing drug delivery platforms targeting ocular diseases. Previously held positions encompass Research Associate at the Center for Green Chemistry, Reviewer for the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research, and Research Scientist at GENZYME Corporation, where Rami focused on non-fouling coatings and biomaterials for implantable devices. Rami holds a PhD and MS in Chemistry from UMass Boston and a BS in Chemistry from Lebanese University.
