Hugues Chataing

Hugues Chataing currently works at Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. in the Management Strategy Team, focusing on Next Generation Mobility and Circular Economy projects since October 2020. Prior to this role, Hugues served as the Manager of the Japan Office at JITEX from November 2011 to September 2020, undertaking studies and technical intelligence in transportation, electric vehicles, and energy. Hugues has also contributed as a Technical Consultant in similar fields during this period. Additionally, Hugues worked at the French Embassy in Japan from 2009 to 2011 as a Chargé de mission. Hugues holds a Master’s degree in General Engineering from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and a Licence in Japanese language and civilization from Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales, along with preparatory studies in Mathematics and Physics at Lycée du Parc in Lyon.
