James Subudhi

James Subudhi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James most recently worked at Odeko as a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they held a position as a Business Intelligence Analyst at the same company from December 2021 to May 2022. James also worked at the Brooklyn Movement Center as a Board Member starting in January 2013.

In addition, they worked as a Performance Management Data Analyst at the MONTGOMERY COUNTY MARYLAND GOVERNMENT from November 2020 to December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at The John Jay Research and Evaluation Center from August 2020 to November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Milano from October 2013 to December 2013. James started their career as a Legislative & Policy Intern at Council Member Melissa Mark-Viverito from September 2013 to December 2013, where they drafted speeches, policy memos, and letters, resolved constituent issues, and developed policy ideas.

Lastly, they contributed to DecideNYC, a non-partisan political blog, as a Contributor from September 2013 to November 2013, where they wrote articles on NYC races and election outcomes.

James Subudhi completed their B.A in Urban Studies at The New School from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Urban Policy and Management with a focus on Politics, Advocacy, and Research at the same institution from 2012 to 2014.
