Maria Torres has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Maria began their career as Clinic Coordinator at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007. In 2008, they moved to CORPORATION FOR BETTER HOUSING, where they held the role of Resident Services Supervisor. In 2017, they took on the role of Team Lead at Docent Health. Most recently, they have been working as Customer Success Lead at Odeza since 2022.

Maria Torres began their educational journey in 2003 when they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Maria then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from California State University, Bakersfield, which they completed in 2011. In November 2022, Maria obtained a Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) Level 1 certification from SuccessHACKER.
