Nathaniel Hughes has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Nathaniel began their career as an Academic Tutor at Boston College Connor's Family Learning Center. In 2016, they served as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Boston College, where they conducted experimental research in the field of condensed matter. In 2017, they worked as a Data Analyst at Great Lakes Physician Services. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Epic as an Application Reporting Lead and Implementation Manager. In this role, they managed implementations of Epic's Electronic Health Records (EHR) at 5 major healthcare systems, leading configuration, testing, and training efforts with a focus on Health Information Management (HIM). Nathaniel also consulted hospital leadership on IT, legal, and operational policy updates based on up-and-coming industry trends and other federal and state mandated regulation. In 2021, they began working as a Customer Success Lead at Odeza and as a Co-Founder at Tomorrow Today Consulting LLC.

Nathaniel Hughes attended St. Joesph's Collegiate Institute from 2010 to 2012, Nichols School from 2012 to 2014, and Boston College from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a B.S. in Physics. In 2022, they obtained a Certified Specialist of Business Intelligence certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
