Marcelo Pasquali has extensive work experience in various roles in the maritime and chemical industries. Marcelo started their career as an intern at The Dow Chemical Company in 1986 and later held several roles within the company from 1989 to 1998. Marcelo then worked as a Business Finance Analyst and later as a Six-Sigma Black Belt - Project Manager from 2001 to 2003. Marcelo also worked as a Strategic Planning Manager from 2004 to 2007 and as a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions from 2007 to 2011. Marcelo then became the Director of M&A and Strategic Planning from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Marcelo joined Odfjell SE, where they initially served as the Head of Project and Business Development until 2017. From 2017 onwards, Marcelo has held the position of Vice President Chartering & Operations and Business Development at Flumar.

Marcelo Pasquali holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Escola Politécnica at the University of São Paulo, obtained in 1988. Marcelo also completed an MBA from Fundação Carlos Alberto Vanzolini at USP in 1991. Marcelo furthered their education with studies in Economic Evaluation and Investment Decision Methods at the Colorado School of Mines in 1998. Marcelo has additional education experience from Michigan State University and The University of Texas at Austin. Marcelo also has certifications as a CIRM (Certified in Integrated Resources Management) and CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) from APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society). Furthermore, they hold a Six-Sigma Black-Belt certification.
