Carl Mattern

Carl Mattern is an experienced professional in risk management and cyber security, currently serving as Risk & Data Manager at Odido Nederland since December 2021. Previously, Carl held various roles at Deloitte Nederland from March 2014 to December 2021, including Manager of Learning, Security Awareness, and Gamification at Cyber Risk Services, where responsibilities included learning facilitation and incident management. Carl was also a key facilitator for multiple certification preparation exams including CISM, CISSP, and CISA, and co-founded a Cyber Security Escaperoom. Earlier career experiences include conducting client satisfaction research at Schinkelshoek & Verhoog, working in communication management at Tappan Communicatie, and serving in the communication department of the Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal. Carl holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Economic History from Leiden University.
