Emma Stanton, PhD

Emma Stanton, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Emma is currently employed as the Chief Product Officer at Odie Pet Insurance since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Product at Recora Health from August 2021 to January 2023. Emma also held multiple roles at PathologyWatch, including VP of Product from April 2021 to August 2021, Director of Product and Strategy from May 2020 to April 2021, and Regulatory Strategy Product Manager from February 2019 to May 2020. Emma worked as a Doctoral Researcher at the Wildlife Ecology & Nutrition Project from August 2013 to May 2020. Emma also worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Hunter College from August 2014 to May 2019. Emma served as a Project Lead/Consultant at The Solution Lab, Inc. from June 2017 to June 2018, and as a Research & Analytics Consultant at Intrigma Inc. from July 2016 to February 2017. Emma's experience also includes being a Guest Lecturer at Fordham University in November and December 2015, and a Researcher at The Jane Goodall Institute of Canada from March 2012 to June 2013. Emma Stanton, PhD has a strong educational background in the fields of Physical and Biological Anthropology, Animal Sciences, Ecology, and Evolutionary Biology. Emma began their education at the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York from 2013 to 2015. Emma then continued their academic journey at the New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from 2013 to 2019. Finally, they expanded their expertise as a Visiting Fellow in Animal Sciences at the University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2020.
