Claudia Olivas

Claudia Olivas has a strong background in operations and quality management. Claudia started their career at Universal Lighting Technologies in 1994, where they held various roles including Black Belt, Continuous Improvement Coordinator, and Supervisor. Claudia then moved on to Nexus de Mexico as a Quality Manager in 2004 before joining KEMET Electronics Corporation in 2005. At KEMET, Claudia served as a Quality Leader and later as a Quality and Process Engineering Manager. In 2010, they joined Johnson Controls as a Quality and NPI Manager, and subsequently held positions as an Operational Excellence and Quality Manager, and as a Regional Subject Matter Expert on Total Quality. Their most recent position is with ODL, Inc where they currently serve as the Manufacturing Operations Director.

Claudia Olivas has a diverse education history. Claudia obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Leadership from UANE, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from UVB, studying from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their degrees, Claudia has acquired several certifications. Most recently, in September 2022, they completed courses in "Cómo afrontar la depresión en el trabajo," "Cómo aprender a ser accesible," "Gestión del estrés en tiempos de incertidumbre: Vivir o sobrevivir," "La zona de confort y cómo salir de ella," "Mindfulness: Cómo conseguir una atención plena," and "Cómo desarrollar la inteligencia emocional" from LinkedIn. In August 2022, they also completed a course on "Cómo desarrollar tu propia capacidad de adaptación" from LinkedIn.

Additionally, Claudia holds a variety of certifications from previous years. Claudia obtained certifications in "Embracing Unexpected Change" in July 2022 from LinkedIn, "Teaching Civility in the Workplace" in August 2021 from LinkedIn, and "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" in August 2020 from LinkedIn. In January 2016, they received certifications in "Quality ISO 9001:2015 Auditor and implementer" and "Energy ISO50001:2011 Auditor and implementer" from TUV Rheinland North America Group. Furthermore, in June 2010, they attained a certification as a "Metodologist Kepner-Tregoe" from Kepner-Tregoe, and in November 1999, they achieved a "Six Sigma Master Black Belt" certification from Six Sigma Specialists.
