Mark Kennedy

Mark Kennedy has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the automotive industry. Mark began their career in 1993 as a Manufacturing Engineer at Modern Engineering. Mark then joined Johnson Controls in 1994 and held multiple positions, including Product Engineer, Program Manager, Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and Advance Manufacturing Global Leader. At Johnson Controls, they led cross-functional teams and was responsible for manufacturing launch, capital budgeting, and engineering department management. In 2015, Mark joined Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, where they served as Advanced Manufacturing Director and Director of Engineering. Mark'sresponsibilities included leading the Yanfeng Testing Lab, managing the CAE team, directing the quoting team, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Since 2019, Mark has been working as Director of Engineering and Director of Program Management at ODL, Inc. Overall, Mark has a strong background in automotive engineering, manufacturing, and leadership.

Mark Kennedy earned a Master's of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management from Western Michigan University from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University between 1990 and 1993. In terms of additional certifications, Mark achieved a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in July 2020.
