Clayton Hove has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Clayton began their career as a freelance Graphic Designer at The Nightshade Studio / Blurred Vision Image Enhancement, where they developed skills in branding and campaign creation. Clayton then transitioned to GL Ness as an Art Director, taking on various responsibilities including writing and directing broadcast projects. After that, they joined KK Bold as a Copywriter and quickly advanced to the role of Creative Director. Following their time at KK Bold, Clayton joined Adland as an Ad Maven, contributing to content and discussions about advertising. Most recently, they joined Odney as a Creative Director after their acquisition of KK Bold.

Clayton Hove pursued their education in a variety of institutions, focusing on business administration, communications, advertising, and art. From 1986 to 1988, they attended Bismarck State College, where they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Commercial Art. Afterwards, they attended Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1988 and the University of North Dakota from 1989 to 1992, majoring in Mass Communications and Advertising respectively. In 2007, Clayton enrolled in Dickinson State University and completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship in 2010. Additionally, in 2009, they received a Certificate of Completion for Casino Marketing from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
