Katie Weir

Katie Weir is an experienced animal care specialist with a focus on pinniped and otter training at OdySea Aquarium since February 2022. Prior to this role, Katie served as an assistant trainer at Mystic Aquarium from May 2021 to February 2022, where responsibilities included beluga critical care. Additionally, Katie gained experience as a Marine Theater intern, working on California sea lion programming. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Roger Williams University, completed in 2021.
