Principal Scientist Protein Therapeutics at Odyssey Therapeutics

Felix Kolbe, PhD, has a diverse work experience in scientific research and the military. Felix currently serves as a Principal Scientist Protein Therapeutics at Odyssey Therapeutics since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Max Planck Institute of Biophysics as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2017 to 2021, where they conducted research in Molecular Membrane Biology, focusing on protein expression, purification, and characterization. Felix also holds a PhD (summa cum laude) from the same institute. Before their doctoral studies, they worked as a Master Thesis Student at AstraZeneca, where they focused on protein-ligand complexes and their crystallization. Felix also has experience in the military as a Lieutenant in the German Federal Armed Forces from 2008 to 2011.

Felix Kolbe, PhD completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biophysik at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz from 2011 to 2014. Felix then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biophysik at The University of Freiburg from 2014 to 2016. During their master's studies, they also spent a year as a visiting student at Caltech in 2015-2016.
