Vanessa Gonsalves

Vanessa Gonsalves has extensive experience in admissions counseling, alumni outreach, and content creation. Currently serving as an Admissions Counselor at both Cal Poly Humboldt and Humboldt State University since May 2017 and January 2015, respectively, Vanessa engages in student recruitment, presentations, and building relationships within the educational community. Previous roles include a temporary Directorship in Alumni Outreach & Marketing at Humboldt State University, where Vanessa coordinated various community engagement events and established connections with a broad alumni network. Additionally, Vanessa is a writer and photographer for Odyssey and the founder of Sole Travels, a blog showcasing personal travel content. Vanessa holds a BA in Liberal Studies Elementary Education and a minor in Communications from Humboldt State University.
