Paul Nevitt

Paul Nevitt serves as the VP of Science and Technology at the National Nuclear Laboratory since July 2019, where additional responsibilities include Director of the Clean Energy Strategic Focus Area and Technical Director of the Advanced Fuel Cycle Programme. Concurrently, Paul holds fellowships with the Nuclear Institute and the Royal Society of Chemistry, as well as positions on various boards and committees such as the SNETP Governing Board and as the UK Representative for the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency. Prior roles include Senior Technical Advisor at the Nuclear Innovation and Research Office and Principal Technologist at Rolls-Royce. Paul holds a PhD in Actinide Surface Science from Cardiff University, obtained in 2005.
