Amylia Mesic

Amylia Mesic is a Research Officer and Policy Analyst at the OECD - OCDE, focusing on decarbonisation within the Clean Energy Finance Investment Mobilization Team. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Smart Prosperity Institute, where collaboration led to the development of a report on Canada’s battery minerals value chain, and completing an internship at OECD in the Productivity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division, concentrating on energy storage technologies. Amylia has held multiple roles in Global Affairs Canada, including Development Officer for the Philippines and Indonesia, and as a Junior Analyst. Earlier roles include Research Assistant positions at the Smart Prosperity Institute, Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa, and various leadership positions at McMaster University. Amylia holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics and International Development from Sciences Po, a Master of Arts in International Development and Global Studies from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with Honours from McMaster University.
