Mark Uhrbach is an experienced professional in the field of digital economics, currently serving as Chair of the Working Party on Digital Economics, Measurement and Analysis at the OECD since January 2013. Uhrbach also holds the position of Vice Chair in two related working parties, focusing on the digital economy's measurement and analysis. At Statistics Canada, Uhrbach has been Chief of the Centre of Expertise for the Digital Economy since September 2010, overseeing initiatives related to the digital economy and fostering international collaboration. Previous roles include Chief of Digital Economy Metrics and Program Manager for Digital Economy Surveys, contributing critical work on internet use and cyber security metrics. Prior to these positions, Uhrbach worked as a Policy Analyst at Industry Canada and as a Senior Analyst and Economist at Statistics Canada. Uhrbach holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Calgary.
