Sara Sultan has extensive experience in public policy, particularly in the realm of state-owned enterprises and corporate governance. Since September 2007, Sara has served as the Head of the State-Owned Enterprise Unit at the OECD, overseeing key initiatives and supporting the OECD Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices. In previous roles, Sara has contributed to high-level policy dialogue and standard-setting through various projects focused on anti-corruption and compliance within the OECD Trust in Business Initiative. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Affairs from Sciences Po and a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by international exposure at Boğaziçi University. Additional experience includes internship roles with the United Nations, the National Democratic Institute, and the U.S. Department of State.
