Willy Hofmann

Willy Hofmann currently serves as the Head of R&D Project for Automatic Assembly Tools at Oetiker Group, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Willy worked as a Principal Engineer for Aerodynamics at Doosan Enerbility from January 2018 to June 2023, and before that, held roles at Ansaldo Energia as an Engineer and Team Lead for Hot Turbine Aerodynamic Design and Performance. Willy's earlier experience includes a tenure at Alstom Power O&M Ltd. as Team Lead for Hot Turbine Design Aerodynamic and Performance, as well as an Aerodynamic Design and Performance Engineer. Academically, Willy Hofmann obtained a CAS in Project Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland in 2023 and holds a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, along with degrees from Technische Universität Berlin and Technische Universität Darmstadt in related fields of engineering.
