Mauricio Romero 马龙

Mauricio Romero has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mauricio is currently the Director of Business Development at ALFA-BRIDGE LIMITED. Previously, they worked as the Business Development Manager at FABCO China, where they specialized in New Retail solutions in China, Cross-Border E-Commerce, Domestic E-Commerce, importation & distribution, and retail chain network implementation. Mauricio is also a Co-Founder of the Ecuador & Senegal Chapter at OffChain Global.

Prior to these roles, Mauricio has held positions at The Venice Raytour Hotel Shenzhen, where they served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and later as Food and Beverage Manager. Mauricio was responsible for overseeing the western operation F&B and reactivating business in related outlets.

Before that, Mauricio was the owner of GASTRO TRUCKS, where they gained experience as a business owner. Mauricio also worked as a Lecturer at UDLA Quito.

Additionally, Mauricio has held positions at Interlaken OCT Hotel Shenzhen, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group - Grand Lapa, Macau, and Caffe Concerto, Modena - Italy, where they gained experience in various roles related to food and beverage management and guest chef responsibilities.

Mauricio Romero 马龙 began their education in 2002 when they enrolled at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Mauricio pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, completing their studies in 2007. In 2005, they also obtained a certificate from the same university in GASTRO MONDE 2005: International cuisine lessons. This demonstrated their interest and expertise in the culinary field. Later, in 2009, Mauricio attended EADA Business School and pursued an International Master in Hospitality Management, which they completed by 2010. These educational experiences reflect their dedication to the field of hospitality and management within the tourism industry.
