Tristan von Balluseck

Tristan von Balluseck has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they interned at Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Dalian) Co., Ltd and later joined AIESEC as a National Support Team member. In 2012, they gained further experience through an internship at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and went on to found Chengdu Life, where they served as Founder until 2015. Tristan then joined Volkswagen Group China, taking on roles in Group Parts & Service, Product Marketing, Connected Services, and Charging & Energy Business Unit. Concurrently, they also held positions at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as a Consultant for various projects. In 2014, they became the Sales Director Greater China/Marketing Manager at Luftmed GmbH. Tristan co-founded the Beijing Chapter of OffChain Global in 2022 before joining NIO as a Strategy Business Partner (Lead PMO).

Tristan von Balluseck has a strong educational background in Chinese-European Economics and Business Studies. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Chinese-European Economics and Business Studies at both The Berlin School of Economics and Law and the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from The Berlin School of Economics and Law, spanning from 2005 to 2011. During their bachelor's studies, Tristan von Balluseck also engaged in Chinese language studies at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Tristan von Balluseck has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2021, they became a LUMA Institute Certified Facilitator for Human-centered Design. In 2020, they attained certifications in HSK5 from the Confucius Institute Headquarters, AI Product Manager from Udacity, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance. These certifications further showcase their commitment to professional development and gaining expertise in various fields.
