Tristan Wilson has over 13 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Offchain Labs. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, where they were part of the SPICE team, a columnar storage database engine built from the ground up to accelerate Quicksight queries. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Amazon as a Senior Software Development Engineer, building and operating DDoS and Robot Mitigation systems used by Amazon.com and over a thousand other websites and API endpoints. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at NASDAQ OMX as a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer in the SMARTS Group, writing and maintaining software to integrate SMARTS' core surveillance product with different trading engine gateways. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Hydrix as a Software Engineer and a Software Test Engineer, working on projects such as an acoustic safety device for call centre operators. In 2008, they also worked as a Computer Science Lab Instructor at the University of Melbourne.
