Brian Holmes

Brian Holmes, Ph.D., currently serves as Senior Director and National Intelligence Officer for Emerging and Disruptive Technologies at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence since June 2021. His extensive experience includes roles as Dean and Associate Dean at the National Intelligence University, where Brian engaged significantly with the intelligence community, and various leadership positions at the Defense Intelligence Agency, including Supervisory Intelligence Officer and Professor. Brian has contributed as Co-Chair on key committees for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and served in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a Direct Commission intelligence officer. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Clemson University and an Executive Scholar Certificate in Leadership from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
