Gitonga Murang'a serves as a Senior Principal Prosecution Counsel at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) since January 2014, where responsibilities include prosecuting cases in various courts, contributing to the Prosecutor Newsletter, and being a member of law reform committees. Gitonga also coordinates anti-money laundering efforts and serves as a social media strategist, speechwriter, and liaison for anti-money laundering and asset recovery initiatives. Prior experience includes roles in advocacy and campaign management at The Youth Agenda and COVAW Kenya, as well as positions focused on democratization at the International Commission of Jurists. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law.
