Nicholas Helms

Nicholas Helms currently serves as an Assistant District Attorney for both the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York since September 2021. Prior experience includes a legal internship with the United States Attorneys' Offices in the Major Crimes Section, as well as externships at the Public Law Center and the California Court of Appeal. Nicholas also worked as a law clerk for the Office of the Public Defender in Maryland and held a paralegal assistant position at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. An educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of California, Davis.
