Anika Roberts (nee Austin)

Anika Roberts (nee Austin) has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anika is currently employed at Ofgem as a Transformation Communications & Engagement Lead, starting in September 2022. Anika also founded PlayTableCloths & Co in 2020 as an entrepreneurial pursuit to provide creative play solutions for children. Anika established AR & Partners Consulting in 2016, where they served as an Employee Engagement Consultant & Founder, offering organizational development expertise to clients. Anika co-founded Storyna in 2020 and played a role in its operations until November 2021. Prior to these ventures, they worked as a Consultant at invigor8 from 2015-2016, specializing in organizational development, employee engagement, and leadership development. Anika held the position of Head of Employee Engagement and Lead HR Advisor for HR Communications at the London Borough of Camden from 2010-2015. Anika also contributed to the Engage for Success web platform as an Engagement Consultant from 2012-2013. Earlier in their career, Anika worked at Accenture as a Management Consultant, AO Mobilization from 2007-2010, focusing on global communications, people programs, and change initiatives. Anika gained experience as a Freelance Editor at Cornelsen Schulverlage GmbH from 2004-2007, and as a PA to the Head of Department at the University of York in 2003.

Anika Roberts (nee Austin) has a strong educational background in business and management as well as North American studies. Anika obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business/Managerial Economics and North American Studies from Freie Universität Berlin in 2002. Anika then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management and North American Studies from the same university, which they completed in 2006.

In 2002, Anika was also awarded a grant on the Erasmus program to study abroad at the University of Leeds, where they focused on English Literature (British and Commonwealth).

Apart from their formal education, Anika has also obtained additional certifications. In 2016, they obtained a certification in MBTI from The Myers & Briggs Foundation. Additionally, they have some level of qualification in CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), equivalent to Part CIPD qualification.
