Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Ofgem

Jessica Verbist has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jessica began their career in 1991 at AIM Solutions, Inc., where they worked as a Support Analyst/Trainer, installing and configuring the company's products on customer sites. Jessica then joined GEC Marconi Avionics in 1996 as a Systems Support Engineer.

In 1998, Jessica moved to Quadstone, where they served as a Systems Administrator. Their responsibilities included providing support for the company's servers and desktops. Jessica worked there until 2005.

From 2005 to 2008, Jessica worked at The British Museum as an IS Technical Specialist. Jessica was a part of a team that supported 1000 users and implemented new technologies within the Museum.

In 2009, Jessica joined the University of Westminster as a Windows Infrastructure Manager. Jessica managed the on-premise Windows server infrastructure, including Active Directory and Microsoft SQL Server. In 2018, they were promoted to Team Lead: Enterprise Systems Developments, where they managed the team responsible for developing and administering the on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including Office 365 and Azure AD. Jessica worked at the University of Westminster until 2020.

Currently, Jessica is employed as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Ofgem, a position they have held since July 2020.

From 1987 to 1991, Jessica Verbist attended Heriot-Watt University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, completing the program in four years. No further information about their field of study was provided.
