Neil Lawrence (MBA)

Neil Lawrence (MBA) has significant work experience in various roles and industries. Neil is currently serving as the Director of Delivery and Schemes at Ofgem since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Retail at Ofgem from July 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining Ofgem, Neil held a long-term position at Deloitte as a Director from July 2012 to July 2021. Neil also briefly worked as a Market Consultant at Hudson Energy in 2012.

Neil's earlier experience includes working at British Gas as the Head of Process & Controls from December 2010 to April 2012. Neil also worked at Centrica in multiple roles, including Head of Specialist Recoveries from January 2010 to December 2010, Head of Portfolio Management from December 2008 to January 2010, Forecasting Manager from April 2005 to December 2008, Reporting Manager from April 2004 to April 2005, and Senior Demand Analyst from June 2002 to April 2004.

Their initial work experience was as a Business Analyst at TXU from 1998 to 2001.

Neil Lawrence completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Decision Analysis, focusing on Maths, Statistics, and Business, from Staffordshire University in the years 1994-1998. Neil then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex between 1999 and 2000. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School from 2008 to 2011.
