Akhil Gupta

Akhil Gupta currently serves as the BU Head for Cocoa at ofi, a position held since February 2025, where responsibilities include country P&L, procurement, operations, exports, supply and demand analysis, and hedging. Previously, Akhil worked at Louis Dreyfus Company from April 2019 to December 2024, holding roles such as Research Manager for Edible Oils & Oilseeds and Trader for Grains & Pulses, where key contributions involved commodity derivatives research, supply and demand analysis, and trading management. Akhil's professional journey began with a Graduate Engineering Trainee position at Reliance from July 2015 to May 2016 and included an impactful summer internship focused on wheat yield prediction. Educational qualifications consist of an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Nirma University.
