Aranyak Sanyal

Aranyak Sanyal's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In their current role at OFI, they serve as the Global SBU Head for Coffee Estates, as well as the SVP and Head of Business Development in Asia. Prior to that, they worked at Olam as the Cluster Head for East Africa, where they oversaw and managed multiple SBUs and geographical locations. Before Olam, they held the position of Head of Agri Trading in Africa at Tata International Limited, where they played a crucial role in developing a new business platform and overseeing agri products procurement and marketing across Africa, India, and other markets. Earlier in their career, Sanyal held positions such as Country Head and General Manager in Zimbabwe and Associate General Manager at Olam International. Aranyak also has experience in the financial sector as a Trainee in the Ratings Team at Standard & Poors Asia Ltd and as a Software Consultant at Capgemini Consulting Pvt. Ltd.

Aranyak Sanyal completed their education at various institutions. Aranyak obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance (Major) & Marketing (Minor) from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they received an Engineer's Degree in Information Technology from B.P. Poddar Institute Of Management and Technology, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Aranyak Sanyal completed their high school education in the Science Stream at La Martiniere for Boys from 1998 to 2000.

Aranyak has also obtained multiple certifications, including "Digital Marketing: Customer Engagement, Social Media Planning & Analytics" from Columbia Business School in 2021. Other certifications include "Enhancing Team Wellbeing: Psychological Safety" from Duke Corporate Education, "Leadership Ed : LEVERAGING DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES" from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and "Selling Through Customer Centricity Experience" from The Wharton School, all obtained in 2021. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn on topics such as coaching skills, communication foundations, and data science foundations. Aranyak Sanyal has ongoing certifications from Yale School of Management and UC Berkeley Executive Education in 2023.
