Gopinath Gurusamy

Gopinath Gurusamy has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Gopinath currently holds the position of Vice President Finance at OFI since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Finance and Accounting - Vietnam at OFI from September 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining OFI, Gopinath worked at Olam where they had various roles. Gopinath started as the Head of Finance Spice Division in India from January 2015 to March 2017. Gopinath then served as the Head of Finance - Edible Nuts India from March 2017 to August 2019. Finally, they became the Head of Finance - Edible Nuts - Vietnam from September 2019 to August 2021.

Prior to their tenure at Olam, Gopinath worked at Schneider Electric as a Sr. Manager Finance from November 2011 to January 2015. Gopinath also worked at EID PARRY (INDIA) LTD as a Manager Finance from March 2010 to February 2012, and at Indian Products Limited as the DGM Accounts and Finance from April 2000 to February 2010.

Gopinath Gurusamy completed their CA degree in Accounting and Finance from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Com degree in Commerce from the University of Madras from 1991 to 1995. Gopinath also attended Little Flower Higher Secondary School from 1989 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, they also hold a certification in Leading Innovation change from UC Berkeley Executive Education, obtained in 2022.
