Ria Bakshi

Ria Bakshi has a strong background in sustainability accounting, reporting, and finance. Ria'smost recent role was as the Global Head of Sustainability Accounting, Reporting & Impact at OFI. Prior to that, they held positions as the General Manager & Lead of Finance for Sustainability at OFI and Manager & Lead of Finance for Sustainability at Olam. Ria also has experience in management and consulting roles at PwC Singapore, PwC India, Grant Thornton India LLP, Deloitte, and KPMG Advisory. During their time at KPMG, they completed an internship focused on corporate responsibility and quantifying the intangible benefits of sustainability and CSR initiatives.

Ria Bakshi obtained an MBA in Environment & Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Forest Management from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, Delhi University from 2005 to 2008. Ria also attended Banyan Tree Schools in 2004-2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Leading Strategic Growth" from Columbia Business School Executive Education in 2020 and "Sustainable Cities" from SDG Academy in 2016. Ria has also obtained certifications in ISO 14001 Environment Management System (EMS), management essentials from Harvard Business, water efficiency planning and renewable energy from the U.S. Department of Energy, corporate sustainability practices and inclusive growth from Indian Chemical Council - Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, and sustainability reporting from GRI.
