Jim Harris

Jim Harris has a significant amount of experience in the healthcare industry. Jim most recently served as the VP of Operations at Oglethorpe, Inc starting in September 2017. Prior to that, they were the Director of Behavioral Health Services at HCA, Memorial Hospital of Tampa starting in September 2014. From June 2013 to July 2014, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Acadia Healthcare, North Tampa Behavioral Health. Jim also served as the Acting CEO for new acquisitions at Acadia Healthcare from March 2012 to May 2013. Earlier in their career, they were the Director of Clinical Services at MeadowWood Hospital from September 2011 to May 2013 and the Chief Executive Officer at Jefferson Trail Treatment Center for Children from November 2009 to September 2011. Jim's other roles include Director of Social Services/Utilization Review/Admissions at Friends Hospital from 2006 to 2009 and Social Work Supervisor at Albert Einstein Medical Center from 2003 to 2006.

Jim Harris attended Penn Charter, a school for which no start or end year is provided. Later, they went on to study at Hampshire College from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Linguistics. Finally, from 1992 to 1994, Jim pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Fordham University with a focus on Social Services.
