Rasheed Folarin

Rasheed Folarin is a seasoned professional in the field of transport and traffic regulation, currently serving as part of the Integrated Passenger Transport Operations Team at North Yorkshire Council since September 2024 and as a Doctoral Researcher at Teesside University. With extensive experience in Ogun State Government since February 2006, Rasheed has held various significant positions including Head of the Transport and Standardization Unit, Chief Traffic Officer, and Divisional Commander of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps. Responsibilities have encompassed traffic regulation, research on road safety, and training for officers, all aimed at minimizing risks associated with vehicle investment and enhancing transport efficiency.
