VP, Executive Creative Director at OH Partners

Clayton James is the current VP, Executive Creative Director at OH Partners. Prior to this, they were the Executive Creative Director at Griffin Technology from April 2014 to February 2017. During their time at Griffin Technology, Clayton was responsible for overseeing and managing advertising, interactive, social, SEO, packaging, merchandising, trade shows and product development. Clayton was also instrumental in helping the company re-invent and coordinate a clear brand message.

Under Clayton's leadership, the creative team at Griffin Technology won numerous awards and became one of the most respected in-house agencies. Clayton successfully reorganised the department, abolishing relationships with external agencies and saving the company considerable amounts of money. Clayton also updated the packaging of all product lines and won Best of Show at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Clayton introduced a respected 3D Illustrator to revitalise new products for their use within presentations prior to prototype, improving pre-sales of new product lines and decreased timeline between buyer commitment and delivery of final packaged product. Clayton rejuvenated the company website and marketplace pages including Amazon, BestBuy, WalMart, and Tesco which led to improving conversion rates.

Clayton also developed and implemented a new structure for in-house production team allowing for fabrication of much larger and more complex productions. Clayton aligned creative teams with sales channels to support stronger creative expertise. Clayton established procedures and quality standards for the department and oversaw full teams of writers, artists, designers and project managers.

Orchestrating photo sessions by choosing photographers, stylists and cosmetic artists was another one of their many responsibilities. Clayton also managed campaigns with specific focuses in order to meet customer needs and creative visions. Clayton evaluated and contributed to creative team ideas and translated them into actionable project plans. Clayton developed artistic visual products while working within defined technical constraints.

Clayton James has a certificate of art direction from the Portfolio Center and a degree in marketing from the University of West Georgia.

Clayton James works with TBH - VP, Social Media, PR & Content, Tim Washburn - Chief Creative Officer, and Brandon Barnard - President. and Mark Naparstek - Creative Director reports to Clayton James. Their manager is Scott Harkey, President & CEO.
