Florian Gleissner

Florian Gleissner is an experienced professional in political affairs and government relations, currently serving as the Head of Political Affairs at OHB SE since April 2025. Previously, Florian held the position of Director of EU Government Affairs at Boeing from May 2023 to April 2025 and was the Chair of the Space, Security and Defence Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU) from January 2022 to April 2025. With a background at GE Aerospace, serving as Director and EU Government Relations Manager from September 2019 to May 2023, and as a Senior Policy Advisor at AmCham EU from May 2017 to September 2019, Florian managed key committees focused on environmental and security issues. Florian holds a Master of European Studies from KU Leuven and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Kent.
