Melanie Koch is a senior manager at the Ohio Credit Union League. Melanie has over five years of experience in the Credit Union industry and has been with the League for four years. Koch has a passion for developing people and culture and has been instrumental in launching internal and external diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Melanie also developed a statewide young professional program to address market needs for talent retention and succession. Koch is a graduate of Wright State University with a degree in Human Resources Management.

Melanie Koch completed their undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University in Human Development and Family Studies - General. Melanie also has certifications from AACUC in DEI Leadership, Association for Talent Development (ATD) in Adobe Captivate, and Association for Talent Development (ATD) in E-Learning Instructional Design. In addition, they are certified by Credit Union National Association (CUNA) as a Creating Member Loyalty Sales Strategies Trainer and a Creating Member Loyalty Service Trainer. Melanie is also Provisionally Certified as a Family Life Educator by the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR).

They are on a team with Andrew Canan - Senior Manager, Political & Grassroots Affairs, Jose Ortiz - Senior Business Solutions Manager, and Kevin Mulder - Senior Business Solutions Manager. Their manager is Paul Mercer, President.
