Donavon Collins

Donavon Collins, MBA, is currently working as a Financial Program Manager at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC). Donavon previously had a brief stint in the same role at ODRC in 2021. Prior to joining ODRC, Donavon worked as a Lead Auditor at the Ohio Department of Youth Services starting from 2019. From 2015 to 2019, they served as an Underwriter at the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, where they made determinations on policies based on claim history and implemented eligibility criteria. Donavon also has experience as a Medical Claims Examiner at the State of Ohio from 2013 to 2014 and as a Corrections Officer at the State of Ohio Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation from 2012 to 2013. Their earliest work experience was as a Supervisor at Valor Security Services from 2009 to 2012.

Donavon Collins, MBA, completed their education with a Master of Business Psychology degree from Franklin University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from the same university in 2015. Donavon also obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from Columbus State Community College in 2014. Their educational background includes a focus on Criminology with a major in Sociology from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, Donavon has received training in Workers' Compensation from The Institute.
