Joseph Marsilio

Joseph Marsilio was appointed Interim Superintendent of Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility in June 2022 following several roles at DYS dating back to 1996, when he joined the agency as a Youth Specialist.

Joe’s leadership roles over the years include Assistant Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent at Cuyahoga Hills in the early 2000s and Superintendent at Indian River from 2004 to 2006. A social worker, Joe has worked at each of their current facilities and most recently served in Central Office as one of their Reentry Administrators.

Joe holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State University.
