Charles Hickey

Charles Hickey serves as the Immediate Past President of the Ohio State Medical Association since March 2012 and is a Partner at Columbus Ophthalmology Associates, LLC, where involvement spans from November 2001 to the present. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Charles specializes in small incision cataract and implant surgery, with a particular focus on diabetic eye care. Additionally, Charles held the position of Chair for the Council on Constitution and Bylaws at the American Medical Association from 2012 to 2013. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science with Honors in the Liberal Arts and degrees in Chemistry and Medicine, both attained from The Ohio State University between 1972 and 1979.
