Lauren Kohl

Lauren Kohl's work experience includes serving as the Director of Operations at The Ohio State University Department of Athletics starting in June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University from July 2021 to June 2022. Lauren also worked as a Substitute Teacher and Physical Education Teacher at Calgary Board of Education from August 2019 to July 2020. Additionally, they have experience as a Fitness Instructor at oranj fitness from September 2018 to August 2019, and as an Instructor at Dynamic Edge Power Skating from August 2014 to July 2019. Lauren also worked as a Professional Athlete at Linköping Hockey Club from May 2018 to December 2018.

Lauren Kohl has an extensive education background in the field of sports and fitness administration/management. Lauren completed their Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from The Ohio State University between 2014 and 2018. Lauren then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field from The Ohio State University from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management, expected to be completed in 2024, also at The Ohio State University.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lauren Kohl has obtained several certifications related to their field. In October 2019, they became a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer - Health Fitness Instructor (CPFT-) through CanFitPro Certified. Lauren also holds a Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the Canadian Red Cross, obtained in November 2019. These certifications enhance their knowledge and skills in providing fitness training and emergency response.
