Andrew Pugh

Andrew Pugh is currently a Research Assistant at the Diabetes Institute, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and has served as a Learning Community Leader and LINKS Peer Mentor at Ohio University since August 2022, guiding first-year multicultural students through their transition to college. As Vice President of Student Outreach on the Ohio University Student Alumni Board, Andrew Pugh plays a key role in community service projects, including the Pack the Pantry initiative, which successfully collected over 3,200 food items for local food pantries. Previous experience includes working as a Clinical Assistant at Central Ohio Primary Care, where responsibilities involved patient care and documentation. Andrew Pugh is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Psychology at Ohio University, with an expected graduation in December 2024, and is currently enrolled in a PhD program in Biomedical Sciences.
