David Resler has extensive experience in both computational nuclear physics and the field of information technology. Currently serving as the OIT Change Manager and Team Lead for Service Management at Ohio University since October 1999, David's responsibilities include overseeing change and problem management within the Office of Information Technology. David's previous roles include Project Manager for the Oracle Calendar and Action Request System Administrator, as well as Outage Coordinator and Big Brother Monitoring Architect. Prior to Ohio University, David worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from March 1987 to September 1999 as a Computational Nuclear Physicist, focusing on research interests such as low-energy nuclear physics, advanced graphics for data visualization, and the design of software for radiation treatment planning. David holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics, both from Ohio University.
