Mary Catherine Kennedy

Mary Catherine Kennedy serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Ohio University, specializing in Management, Business Communication, and Marketing since August 2022. With a robust background in education, Mary has coordinated Religious Education classes for students from Pre-K to 8th grade with Athens Catholic Community since April 2012 and held various academic positions at Mount St. Mary's University, including Associate Professor of Communication and Program Director for the Communication Major. Prior teaching roles at Ohio University include positions as an Adjunct Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant across different communication courses. Mary holds a PhD in Mass Communication/Media Studies, as well as a MA in Telecommunication and a BA in Communication, all from Ohio institutions.
