Molly Tiede

Molly Tiede is an accomplished Lighting Director and Designer with extensive experience in various sectors including corporate events, immersive experiences, music festivals, theater, opera, and dance. Since March 1999, Molly Tiede has led Molly Tiede Design as a freelance Lighting Director/Designer and Project Manager. Currently serving as the Lighting Director/Designer at DEWEY DECIBEL SYSTEMS LLC and as an Associate Professor of Lighting Design-Co-Head of Production Design and Technology at Ohio University, Molly Tiede also contributes as a Lighting Designer and Consultant at McKendree University. Previous engagements include roles as Resident Designer at Opera Colorado and various lighting design positions for the Pygmalion Theater Company, Salt Lake Community College, and Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids. Academic credentials include an MFA in Lighting Design from Ohio University and a BA in Theatre from McKendree University.
