Shawnee Chapman

Shawnee Chapman, MA-HRM, SHRM-CP, PAHR, is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of human resources and management. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Management Department at Ohio University since August 2017, Shawnee also directs the Human Resources Certificate Program and has taken on roles as an Executive Coach, Faculty Advisor, and Assistant Director of Emerging Leaders. Prior to this, Shawnee worked as an Adjunct Instructor and Academic Advisor at Ohio University from August 2014 to May 2017 and held a contract position focusing on Community Standards from August 2013 to May 2014. Shawnee's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from Kennesaw State University, along with ongoing professional development at the Appreciative Advising Institute at Florida Atlantic University.
