Steve Perakis

Steve Perakis has extensive experience in both the visual arts and music industries. As the Senior Preparator at Ohio Wesleyan University since 2008, Steve oversees the safety, preparation, and installation of artworks for exhibitions, while also training student workers. Prior to this role, Steve served as a Gallery Preparator for the Ohio Arts Council and as an Exhibition Specialist, managing the logistics of art handling and display. In addition to a robust career in visual arts, Steve is a professional musician and owner of Wooden Soul, specializing in audio production and diverse musical genres, performing extensively across the United States and Europe. Steve holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from The Ohio State University.
