Wendy Kacmarcik

Wendy Kacmarcik is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Supervisor of Community Counseling at OhioGuidestone since January 2019, overseeing a team of therapists and qualified mental health workers in Lorain County while also providing individual therapy and intern supervision. Prior to this role, Wendy held the position of Clinical Director at Community Behavioral Health Center from March 2014 to December 2018, where counseling and clinical supervision were key responsibilities. Wendy's earlier experience includes serving as an Ombudsman Specialist with the Long Term Care Ombudsman from August 2011 to July 2012, addressing complaints and conducting quality in-services for nursing facilities. Wendy also worked at Community Behavioral Health Center in various capacities from May 1999 to December 2011, culminating in a role as Clinical Supervisor, where management and training were focal points. Wendy Kacmarcik holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Bowling Green State University.
