Jon Struthers

Jon Struthers has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jon is currently serving as the Global Director of Strategic Projects at Ohly since November 2021. Prior to this, Jon held the position of General Manager, Antacid & Catalyst at SPI Pharma from August 2017 to November 2021. Jon also worked at ABF Ingredients as the Head of Business Improvement from September 2016 to August 2017, and at AB Sugar as the Head of Business Improvement from July 2015 to September 2016.

Before joining AB Sugar, Jon served as the Business Development Director at AB Sugar China, an ABF Company, from July 2014 to August 2015. Jon also held the role of Operations Development Director at AB Sugar China from September 2010 to July 2014.

Jon's earlier experience includes working at Germains Technology Group as the Global Operations Manager from 2008 to 2010 and as the UK General Manager from September 2006 to April 2008. Jon began their career at British Sugar, where they held various positions, including Operations Management from May 1999 to September 2006, and Graduate Trainee from September 1997 to January 1999.

Jon Struthers completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Process Engineering from Newcastle University from 1992 to 1996. Jon then pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Biotechnology from the same institution from 1996 to 1997. Jon later obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Lincoln, studying from 2003 to 2005.
